Key Staff Marti Anderson | marti@andersontravel.net President of Anderson Travel, has been a travel agent for over 25 years. After working for Knightly Travel for 15 years, Marti bought the agency in 1993, renaming it Anderson Travel. Marti is proud to have completed her CTC, equivalent to a Masters Degree for a Travel Agent, as well as being an Accredited Cruise Counselor, and Destination Specialist in the South Pacific. Although the travel industry has changed a lot in the last several years, one thing has not changed. Service. Anderson Travel prides itself in our reputation for high customer service. Marti enjoys the personal contact with clients and travels vicariously through her clients. Through the years, Marti has traveled to Asia, Europe, Mexico, Australia, the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, and much of the US. She has enjoyed cruising, ski vacations, exploring our history, but most especially sunshine and being on the water. Marti spends her spare time with her family and friends, boating and kayaking, and community service. She is Past President of the Rotary Club of West Seattle. Terry Shull | terry@andersontravel.net Terry has had over 20 years of travel related experience, starting with graduating from the Travel Career School of Minnesota in 1981. After working as a hotel front desk clerk, tour guide in Costa Rica, and reservations at Princess Cruises, Terry went back to school at the World Leisure Travel Academy. With the additional training, Terry made the switch to becoming a leisure travel agent, and is very happy she did. She especially likes being able to work directly with the traveler. Terry is constantly seeking more education in the travel industry, and has completed destination specialist programs for Hawaii, Central America, Mexico, Puerto Rico, New Zealand, Australia, Belize, and Disneyworld. Most recently passed the Travel Agency Proficiently test and is currently working on the Certified Travel Associate course. Travel is definitely in Terry’s blood…She has lived in and traveled extensively in Australia, New Zealand, Alaska, and Costa Rica, as well as traveling throughout the US, Mexico, Central America, and Tahiti. As a mother of 2 grade school boys, Terry has first hand experience with family travel needs. As a young adult she did a lot of backpacking and budget travel, and enjoys researching out-of-the way, unique travel experiences and especially eco tourism in hot climates. Kathy Bingham The next best thing to a travel agent and a much needed asset to the company's efficiency, Kathy Bingham is our diligent receptionist. She operates the basic needs as well as some odds and ends around the office to allow the travel agents as much customer service time as possible. While working here Kathy has become a certified Hawaii Travel Specialist and has been able to arrange multiple vacation packages to fabulous Las Vegas.
