The Gathering Place
Oahu - Hawaii
Oahu is the most popular island for visitors, featuring the famous Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head and Aloha Tower.

"The Gathering Place" is home to Hawaii's capital city of Honolulu, which has some of the finest hotels in the world. This island of diversity offers a wide variety of attractions and distractions -- from the quiet beaches of Kailua to the pounding surf of the Bonzai Pipeline on the North Shore.

Waikiki is the center of activity with its busy night life, the International Market Place, Honolulu Zoo, and the world-famous Waikiki Beach. The rest of the island offers other wonders and delights, such as the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Pearl Harbor Memorial, Hanauma Bay and Diamond Head.

You'll also want to make time to play in the waterfalls at Waimea Valley, dive, learn to surf (but watch out for the legendary winter waves of the North Shore), journey through the Polynesian Cultural Center, and experience an authentic luau. Oahu is invigorating.
